Asia Institute – Crane House, as we know it today, has a long and exciting history. Each year, we host a 
Lunar New Year Gala that is our biggest fundraising event of the year. This dinner event features silent and live auction, entertainment and a variety of delicious Asian-themed cuisine from renowned local chefs. Nearly 300 AICH supporters attend this event every year! It generates the fund required for our educational and programming initiatives so AICH can continue our mission to promote understanding of Asian cultures and heritage through education, outreach and the arts.
In 2024, we will host Year of the Dragon – Lunar New Year Gala, an elevated Asian Gourmet Dinner & Auction at Mellwood Art Center on Saturday February 17.
