DESCRIPTION:Have you heard of Mahjong Game? Do you know how to play Mahjong or are you a Mahjong lover? \nMahjong or mah-jongg is a tile-based game played by four players. It was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. \nOur Mahjong Club will introduce this ancient game to all participants and teach each how to play Mahjong. Afterwards\, participants can practise playing Mahjong with others under the guidance of the teachers. \nThis is a fun club that is open to all interested (ages 16 and up). Registration is required. $10 per person. \nJoin us on Saturday\, Nov.5 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm for this exciting hands-on workshop!

DESCRIPTION:Come to Asia Institute – Crane House and join our Chinese Fold Art workshop on Saturday\, Oct.28. \nDuring the workshop\, all participants will be introduced to Chinese Sugar Painting art and Paper-cutting art. \nThen each will make their own Paper-cutting art piece. \nAfter making their own sugar painting\, they can have a little “taste” of their Sugar Painting. \nIt’s a family-friendly event and open to the public so bring your kids along (ages 8 and up) and have family time together on a Saturday afternoon! \nPlease scan our QR code or click here to register. \nThis hands-on workshop starts at 2:00 pm and finishes at 3:30 pm. \n
